Persuasion and the Benefits of Urban Trees

Geoffrey Donovan, USFS researcher, will quickly cover dozens of recent studies, translating them into layman’s terms and pointing out the highlights and limitations of each.
Courtney Dillard, professor in the University of Oregon Strategic Communication Program, will teach you how to use the information from these studies to persuade community groups, homeowners, and elected officials to take action on urban forestry issues.
The workshop will be free of charge, and will include:
