The City of Portland is designing improvement for Division Street that includes curb bump-outs, green street vegetated stormwater facilities and other pedestrian safety improvements. In addition, the sewer line under Division will be replaced, and the street repaved.

We will hold an open house to give the community an opportunity to review designs being developed for Division Street. The design process is currently at 30%. This is an excellent time to see how the design is coming along and to talk with the design team.
What to Expect During Construction – construction will begin in early 2012
•You will have access to your property during work hours, but you may experience delays.
•On-street parking in the work area and some nearby areas will be prohibited during the work.
•Your sewer and water service will be maintained at all times, even when work is near your property.
•Open trench construction will be used to replace the sewer line under Division from 12th to Cesar Chavez Blvd. (39th Ave.)
In addition to this open house, you can expect visits this summer to businesses in the area. We will be conducting a survey with owners asking about operating hours, emergency contacts, deliveries, and other helpful information.
