Abernethy Elementary’s Garden of Wonders Harvest Dinner

A beautiful locally grown and prepared harvest buffet will be served.
Appetizers will be hand made by our own Chef Nicole
Local brews and other treats will welcome you to this special Garden Fundraiser event.
Stand up comedian and Abernethy mom Jacki Sturkie will be delivering laughs as you enjoy your harvest meal.
We hope you will come and join us as we partake in good food with good friends for a great cause. Our Garden of Wonders!
Here’s a little more from the organizers:
We have ten eggplants, a row of eight jicama, eight lettuce heads, some Carrots, pumpkins, and a handful of tomatos – but we are still missing the rutabegas and eight additional rows of veggies that we need for the harvest if we’re to make it through the spring.
We are asking for your help – you can buy single tickets for $65 and you can be part of a handful of volunteers veggies sprinkled between the rows, or you can help sponsor a full row of eight. How? It’s easy! Just gather 8 adult people you know (husbands, sisters, parents, neighbors, friends, friends of friends, grandparents, colleagues, etc) and just $480 ($60/person) in seed money – and the row is yours. What do you get in return? A wonderful harvest dinner to feed your soul, a good soaking of beer and wine to make you bloom, a nice bit of laughter to help you thrive, some music to make you flourish and the knowledge that you are part of the wonderful basket of parents that can make our little Garden grow.
