Portland-Milwaukie Light Rail
A new bridge is coming—and it needs a name! TriMet is asking the public to name the Portland-
Milwaukie Light Rail Bridge— the first bridge over the Willamette River in Portland in 40 years.
It connects east and west, so everyone in the region is urged to participate.
Dream up a name and submit it to Name the Bridge. The name you choose might reflect local geography, Native American history, area plants or animals, or other themes related to the symbolic nature of connecting the region.
Submit your names from Oct. 17 to Dec. 1, 2013.
