The Powell-Division Transit and Development Project is a community-based effort to bring a new regional transit investment to Southeast Portland, East Portland and Gresham. The public conversation, through spring 2015, will center on transit alternatives – the vehicle type, its route and station locations – as well as strategies for community development at future station areas.

The gathering is an opportunity for the Steering Committee to get to know each other and meet interested members of the public.

Over the next 15 months, the committee will meet 5 to 6 times to weigh public input and technical information and make decisions that shape a new transit project and development strategies for key places in Gresham, East Portland and Southeast Portland.
