Just a quick announcement that the HAND Rapid Response Committee will convene Monday Dec. 8th at 1:30PM (virtually, connection details below). The RR Committee is a special body established by the HAND bylaws that allows the board officers to make a decision in the place of the entire board when there are exigent circumstances. Any decisions made by the RR Committee must be ratified by the entire board at the next meeting, or the action must be rescinded.
In this case, we will consider approving a letter supporting the a grant request Human Access Project to do more work cleaning up the river.
The meeting will start at 1:30PM and will last, I hope, about 10 minutes. This meeting, like all HAND meetings, is open to the public and you are welcome to attend. No other topics will be discussed. If you have any information you’d like us to consider, please either join us, or contact me before the meeting.
