Grant Funds Are Now Available. Apply Today!

Southeast Uplift is pleased to announce the availability of $43,114 in grant funds through the Neighborhood Small Grants Program. For the third year of the program, the City of Portland’s Office of Neighborhood Involvment has made $187,557 in grant funds available to neighborhood and community groups citywide. Southeast Uplift will be accepting applications for projects that build community, attract new and diverse members and sustain those already involved.

Southeast Uplift’s preferred use of funds is for projects that build capacity in the neighborhood system, show partnerships between neighborhood associations and underrepresented communities and/or community-based organizations that support those populations, and/or support engaging underrepresented groups (people of color, immigrants and refugees, renters, low-income residents, lesbian/ gay/ bisexual/ transgender/ queer residents, or people with disabilities) in the civic life of neighborhood associations.

Grants will be awarded on a competive basis and may range from $500-$5000.

Deadline to Apply is Monday, November 3, 2008 by 2PM
