ATTENTION: DOG OWNERS AND ABERNETHY FIELD USERS!
Portland Public Schools Facilities Dept. has allocated funding and staff to repair the field at Abernethy Elementary School starting MONDAY APRIL 30th 2012. (This field is on the South side of the school building.)
The field will be off limits to all dogs and people for 6-8 weeks (except for Powell’s Little League).
We apologize for any inconvenience this causes you, but look forward to a greener, more level, beautiful field for everyone to enjoy this summer and beyond.
300 pounds of hearty grass seed will be donated by Scott’s thanks to the Abernethy School Kitchen Garden program’s partnership with the company.
