Please join the friends and family of Stella Monteverde-Cakebread, 9 year-old daughter of local business owner Dayna Cakebread and Fernando Monteverde, for a day of family fun and entertainment, and an evening of local music and dance troupes.
Held at @Large Studios, 807 NE Couch Street, the daytime event will run from 12pm – 4pm and will feature music by Kode Bluuz, interactive theatre with Katie O’Grady, Double Dutch with the Jumping Jackie O’s, arts and crafts tables, a raffle with great prizes, food & drinks, and more!
The evening event is adults-only (21 and over) and runs from 6pm to 12am. This portion will feature musical performances by Lindsey Stormo, Stephanie Schneiderman, Oracle, Stolen Sweets, and Dr. Theopolis, plus local dance acts, a silent auction, food and full bar service.
Tickets to both events will be available at the door (cash sale only – ATM on site), or in advance through www.brownpapertickets.org .
Stella Monteverde-Cakebread suffers from Acute Myeloid Leukemia, and will require not only several rounds of chemotherapy, but also a bone marrow transplant. The recovery from these treatments will be a long process. The total cost of her care may exceed two million dollars, and the family’s out-of-pocket expenses will be significant.
Stella’s family and friends have put together this amazing event in order to help defray the exorbitant cost of her care. The event is made possible by the generosity of friends, family, many local artists, musicians and business owners. Please join us for this amazing event, and visit rockstarstella.com to learn more about this amazing little girl.
